I also want to note that one of the Mar 3rd DIF Con APAC sessions will focus on connecting the myraid *-APAC efforts into a larger discussion group that includes policy makers, national identity registry ecosystems, as well as the cryptographic and decentralized identity, credential, and trust organizations.

APAC, LATAM, and Africa represent tremendous greenfield opportunities.  The EU has clearly established leadership in digital trust frameworks, but after my attempt last week to use DIDs and digital signatures to form a U.S. LLC, I was really struck by the APAC opportunities to leapfrog digital transformation.  My LLC effort, while 100% legal was not 'normal', and despite the age of the legalizing legislation, the lack of a culture around digital signatures within the U.S. highlighted that APAC is just now building their legalizing infrastructures.  As Delaware and Wyoming taught me, legislation and law is one thing - but the culture around that law is what matters, and *now* is the time to build both the culture and the law in synchrony across APAC- and what better way to promote Decentralized Identity governed by Trust over IP(v6?) ;)

In addition to catching up I hope we can begin a discussion around some of the legislative efforts around digital ID and similar coming up in the region.There’s a lot happening and it is best to determine how to examine, respond and advocate for better approaches.

I plan to do a quick review of the (draft) India Data Accessibility and Use policy which was recently made available for a public feedback cycle.
